As many of you likely already know, the online "content mills" are sometimes a 'fragile bunch', if you know what I mean. In other words, if a content site doesn't get the traffic it needs to sustain itself (and its contributors?), it just won't stay around very long.
As I attempted to clean up "MY LIST", I found a number of sites that are now "defunct": "404 Not Found", "Domain Name for sale", etc.
Like many things, the 'cream' rises to the top, and those 'cream-sites' continue to plug away at it; surely in hopes of maintaining status-quo...no...to do better than the status-quo, else they, too, won't make it!
In addition, the whole online content scenario continues to go through dynamic changes. With mobile technology and 'the Internet of Things' (IoT) growing fast, written content might become less and less in demand, thus, 'content mills' (etc.) will have to grow with them or fade away.
Anyway, have a look at the updated "MY LIST" if you're looking for sites that are still (apparently, anyway) engaged in seeking written (etc.) content.
It is still possible to earn ad revenue through some of the sites on "MY LIST", and we know the Internet is still seeking written (etc.) content, so we can keep at it...we just have to learn how to "roll with the waves", y'know?
